– My work as a designer began creating spreads for my high school newspaper. Until my senior year, I was convinced that I would major in journalism, but as my senior year progressed as online editor-in-chief, my passion for design just kept growing. I then decided I would study interactive media design and strive to one day work for a prestigious design agency, while continuing to volunteer with various non-profits.
As a designer, I feel as though I am, and always will be, the student. Having an abundance of ideas but lacking the knowledge to see it through is the most frustrating situation any designer can experience. For this reason, I am committed to bettering myself, constantly learning new and innovative techniques to match the ever-changing ways of the industry.
I am now a Visualization major at Texas A&M University studying every aspect of my chosen career field. With all that I have learned, and will learn, I am so excited to see where my designs will go!
